For your next trivia night: What is the only state whose capital city has the same name as the state? If you said Oklahoma with its capital city of Oklahoma City – you got it right!
And, Oklahoma City is where a hailstorm dropped hailstones on over 1,300 new cars and trucks on April 25th. Needing to get their vehicles “A-OK” in a hurry, three major manufacturers put the call out to KhS Global Hail Repair.
Within 48 hours, KhS was on site and repairing vehicles. With unmatched experience in the logistics of estimating, movement and repair of damaged vehicles, KhS managers had this major job operation running smoothly. With KhS’s 3-step quality control process in place, our PDR repairs not only meet but exceed manufactures’ strict quality standards.
In just under 2 weeks all 1,300 vehicles were repaired by our team of skilled PDR technicians. And now, once again, things in Oklahoma City are “OK!”
When major hail producing storms marched across northern Iowa and Illinois into Chicago on April 12th, there were many homes, businesses and dealerships smack in the way. According to national reporting services and media there were over 200 reports of damaging hail across the storm’s path.
Unfortunately one major car manufacturer’s assembly plant was also in the path of the storm, and the call went out to KhS Hail Repair experts to bring their moderately damaged vehicles back to pre-hail condition.
As often happens after a major hail storm, a cold front went through the area bringing with it howling winds and cold temperatures. Undaunted and bundled in their KhS winter gear, KhS managers and technicians were on site within 48 hours – up and running, repairing vehicles to manufactures’ exacting standards.
Within 12 days, the job was completed by our team of skilled PDR technicians – more than 1,300 vehicles repaired and on their way to their final destinations. KhS…….bringing cars back to shape!
When hail hit the Shreveport rail yard on March 28th, three major manufacturers with a combined inventory of over 1,000 vehicles knew they had damage – and a big problem. According to local resources, there were 64 hail reports from the public, trained spotters and the media within 25 miles of Shreveport. In some places, golf ball sized hail rained down massive destruction.
So, who did they call to bring each and every one of their hail damaged vehicles back to pre-hail condition? They called the KhS Hail Repair experts, of course.
Within 48 hours, KhS was on site. With years of experience in the logistics of estimating, movement and repair of damaged vehicles, KhS managers had this major job operation up and running.
KhS’s Mobile Hail Repair Headquarters was the center for the entire operation, equipped with offices as well as internet. “Paperless” reporting was the standard in Shreveport, utilizing our proprietary, electronic estimating and reporting software.
Within 10 days, the job was completed by our team of skilled PDR technicians – more than 1,000 vehicles, brought back to pre-hail condition and on their way to their final destinations.
There is no job that KhS cannot handle. KhS has the resources and the “know-how” to repair any number of vehicles affected by hail or other weather-related damage. Shreveport is just another great example of how quickly and efficiently the KhS Global Hail Repair team works. At KhS Global, it is our goal to run the most efficient, automotive hail repair operations in the business, while providing the highest quality and customer satisfaction in the industry.
Unlike other KhS Global hail trailers, the newest addition to our fleet is a complete field office, including computer workstations with Wi-Fi hotspots, furnished meeting spaces and a self-contained generator for electrical power.
But in addition, the new trailer expands to include over 4,000 square feet of office and awning space to literally cover the estimating and repair of hail damaged vehicles. The trailer also carries a Quality Control Light Tunnel that’s easily assembled so our expert hail repair technicians can assess hail damage and be sure your vehicle is brought back to shape completely – right there on the spot.
This new trailer allows KhS Global to immediately set up a Hail Repair Center for our clients and their customers independent of any outside help.
This new “super trailer” was recently road tested on a trip from St. Louis headquarters to California where KhS Global clients were able to tour the mobile Hail Repair Center and see demonstrations of hail repair.
Two more “super trailers” are going to be added to the fleet in the coming months.
